Let’s chat about soy candles today.  And not just any soy candles will do.  The greatest soy candles available that are eco-friendly for a warm, long-lasting glow.

The item I like purchasing the most isn’t ethical footwear. It isn’t a case of houseplants. It’s all about the candles.  There’s nothing like shutting the curtains, lowering the lights, and burning some soy or beeswax candles to create a beautiful soothing environment on a dark night. Particularly after I’ve had a long day at work or spent the day with my small children and have finally gotten them to bed.

What’s the Deal With Regular Candles?

I’m not a big fan of standard candles.  Paraffin wax is used to make standard candles.  This is a petroleum by-product created from fossil fuels when crude oil is processed into gasoline.  These candles are not only generated from non-renewable fossil fuels, but they can also harm your health When you burn them, the indoor air quality improves.  That’s before we get into the artificial smells found in candles, which may conceal a cocktail of toxins particularly undesirable chemicals.

Soy wax is used to make soy candles.  This is a biodegradable vegetable wax manufactured from soybean oil.  This means they are devoid of petroleum, which is good for the environment.  Soy, on the other hand, has a negative connotation because it’s tied to deforestation in the Amazon jungle. It’s crucial to keep in mind that soy is the The most common source of protein in animal feed, thus the demand for soy rocket has risen in tandem with the demand for meat. In the neighborhood of Animal feed accounts for 75% of all soy producedSo it isn’t the soy candle business that is responsible for the deforestation. Without sorrow, burn your soy candles.

If you don’t want to use soy from the Amazon, some candle makers use wax from the European Union. Soy is farmed in Italy, France, Romania, and Croatia, thus there is more locally supplied soy.

Paddy Wax candles have a stronger aroma than some of the other scented soy candles I’ve tested.  When you’re trying to scent a wider area, such as a living room, I think that’s a fantastic thing.  These may, however, be a little overwhelming in a small bathroom.  While you’re in the bath, save your Paddy Wax candle for scent rather than mood lighting!

Paddy Wax candles come in a variety of holders, which is one of my favorite features.   I’ve had a few of the recycled bottle and apothecary jar candles in the past, and the empty jars have been stored for Making candles is a craft.  I also have a wooden octagon candle holder that I’ve turned into a planter.  However, the above-mentioned ceramic candle might simply be repurposed as a vase.
